Due to Covid-19 and our current family health situation we are not taking any holiday, camping or tour bookings until we review the situation again.  We are still taking accommodation bookings for local workers, however no meals are available and our self catering facilities are not available for use.

We encourage you to check back here after July 2026 for an update. 

We love hosting guests and it has been our way of live for since 1993 and we hope to host you here some time in the future.

"Lyn, Carl and Olive are friendly down to earth people. Have a yarn and a joke, great layback hospitality. Temp your fate at whip cracking and find out you are a pro!! Horse ride with new vigour. Feed a sheep and or a joey and they will follow you for more and a pat and a cuddle. Great meals and a fantastic station set out for many activities if you wish. I highly recommend a stay at Myella Farm"

HIDDEN GEM!
We visited for 1 night /2 days on the weekend and can not speak highly enough about Myella farm. I am from UK and my friend is from NZ. This was our first farm stay experience and we loved it! It couldn’t have gone any better!

What we loved about Myella:

Lyn and Carl - amazing accommodating hosts who have a wonderful way with guests; we were excited about trying all the new things and they really got into the spirit of it with us!
Location - 90 mins from Rocky and amazingly peaceful
Scenery - loved the red soil and flowers

Delicious home cooked food
Most delicious farm milk! Best ever
Dinner with Lyn, Carl, Olive and other guests by the open fire eating delicious home made food

Sunrise walk through the paddock - we took a flask of tea and sat on top of the hill, on the way back there was so many kangaroos in the fields
Cooking breakfast on the open fire
Horse riding lesson - Carl is amazing
Swim - to cold for me but my friend loved it
Farm tour- led by shadow and accompanied by Leroy the lamb! Amazing loved it!
Home cooked lunch
Time to laze in the hammock with a cold beer
Met other guests and had fun!
Tried milking cows- harder than it looks but daisy saved day with her HUGE udder.
No rush to pack room up - was able to get a shower after hot day on farm before heading home
Great value for money!

So if you are thinking of visiting do it! Top shelf experience and would love to return one day!
Tried lots of new things and have only positive things to say!!! Well done!

"A truly wonderful experience. Lyn and Carl are extremely warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable people. The horseback riding tour gave my partner and I the chance to learn how to ride horses while still being active and fun.

​The land is gorgeous and our campsite was very well kept with great facilities. I cannot recommend this spot enough if you are looking for a down to earth getaway - a real piece of paradise. Thank you Myella team"

I loved my stay here when travelling up north from Sydney. Whether you like horse riding, excellent food or just friendliness, you’ll find it here. Even close encounters with kangaroos! I was lucky to meet Yuke, a baby kangaroo, the family takes care of.
I am very grateful for having found the place, and for the days spent there. Most beautiful sunset walks are also part of the experience. Just don’t miss it, it is highly recommended!"
