Our FamilyOlive and Lyn Eather and Carl continue to run the farm stay since it began in 1993. Our family owned and managed Myella as a cattle farm and developed it into the farmstay. Olive and her late husband Peter (RIP 2019) have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Olive was diagnosed with Alzheimer's (a form of dementia) in 2018 and we have restructured the business so she can remain on the farm for as long as possible.
|
Our AnimalsAt Myella there are approx. 350 beef cattle, 3 work horses, 2x working dogs, 1x family dog, half a dozen chickens and a talking parrot.
|
Our HomeThe farm has three family homes, a number of guest rooms and a social outdoor dining area.
The property is 5km long and 2km wide which is just average for this area. |
Our FarmstayA wonderful exchange of information and experiences. Lyn had a desire to share with others her world. And with the enthusiasm and support of her family managed to bring the world to her home!
